In addition to fighting stigma in our workplaces, we are building a human case to encourage cultures built on a foundation of empathy, caring, kindness and compassion. The key to ending stigma is to humanize it with storytelling. The key to affecting social change, persuasive enough to change our workplaces and powerful enough to shine a light on what the future should look like for us all is to interweave a more inclusive story. But we can’t do this alone. We need your help. We are reaching out today to ask if you would like to submit a personal story to help us build the human case for rebuilding workplaces on a foundation of empathy, caring, kindness and compassion with needed mental health programming and support for employees.
If you would like to submit a story speaking to why you believe stigma free workplaces built on a foundation of empathy with needed mental health support, please upload at the link below: Link goes to page:
Thank you for supporting the social change that will one day create stigma free workplaces. Choosing to share your story is not always an easy decision. We understand that you might have questions about where to start, how to tell your story without fear of further discrimination, and whether or not telling your story will make things better for you personally.
We recognize the variety of societal and individual barriers that keep people from sharing their story. We're created some resources to help you take the first step in telling your story and so we can make mental health a priority in the workplace. While our team works on this, please feel free to email, Kerry Martin, with any questions or concerns you may have.
